Once the online permit application is completed AND all yellow highlighted fields are filled in, you will be able to submit the application.  Please note that ALL yellow highlighted fields must be filled in or application will not be submitted.  Our office will receive a notification of the permit application, and if all of the required information is received, the application will be approved and fees will be assigned.  We will then contact you with the fee amount.

The following Commercial and 3+ multi-family residential properties require plan review and permitting by the Fire Department:

     Fire Alarm System
     Fire Sprinkler System
     Fire Pumps
     Fire Hose and Standpipe Systems
     Commercial Kitchen Hood System
     Other Fire Protection Systems  (Dry or wet chemical, Gas Systems, Foam, etc)

Projects with the above-mentioned systems should contact the Fire Chief directly at chief@villageofbristol.org or 262-857-2711.  A Fire Protection Systems Permit Application will be required, approved, and issued before inspections are completed.  Submit completed application to Fire Chief John Niederer.  (Link for the application is above)

Note:  The Fire Department does not review plans for 1-2 family residential dwellings.
