• Zoning permit  (printable form accessible with link below - NOT REQUIRED IF LESS THAN 150 SQUARE FEET)
• Plat of survey showing where project will be built
• 1 set of plans
• Neighborhood Association approval, if applicable.

Air Conditioner / Dishwasher / Electric / Furnace / Generator / Plumbing / Radon / Raze / ** Remodels / Roof / Siding / Water Heater / Water Softener:  the following documents are required.

Fence:  the following documents are required.

• ONLINE PERMIT  (see below)
• Wisconsin licensed contractors - include license #, phone #, and email address.
• Zoning permit  (printable form accessible with link below)
• Survey showing placement of fence
• Neighborhood Association approval, if applicable.

New Construction/Additions:  the following documents are required.  (if applicable)

• ONLINE PERMIT  (see below)
• Wisconsin licensed contractors - include license #, phone #, and email address.

• Plat of survey
• Erosion control
• 2 sets of plans
• Sanitary permit - if private (holding tank or mound system) - Issued by Kenosha County
• Heat calculations

 

PROJECTS NOT REQUIRING A PERMIT ARE:  Windows, Doors, Patios, or Driveways IF THE SIZE IS NOT CHANGING.
